 ABOUT ME

Courtney Cheyanne Thoroughgood (she/her) is a graduate of Arcadia University. She has a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Acting and has jumped headfirst into the Philadelphia theatre scene. Born and raised in Northeast Philly, she knows Philly like the back of her hand and is so excited to be able to make her career here. Courtney is an actor, a stage manager, a teaching artist, and an all-around theater maker. 

 

 Courtney is currently the Education and Executive Associate at Quintessence Theatre Group. This spring the Education Team worked to put together three local Mt. Airy school plays with help from the gracious Albert M. Greenfield Foundation. Courtney appeared in the original American cast of A Latte of Love in the Philadelphia Fringe Festival in the fall of 2025. Along with her on stage and behind the scenes work, Courtney also is proficient in box office work, house management, and concessions.
